Youth and Junior Cup Finals

Medway Park was the venue for the long awaited Liontrust London Rugby League Youth & Junior League Challenge Cup Finals. Local team Medway Dragons Under-14s were first up against Elmbridge Eagles. In an evenly matched contest, the outcome was in the balance until the dying minutes when Elmbridge pulled away to win 32-24.

Greenwich Admirals took the under-18s title in another thriller, winning 35-30 win against the Barking & Dagenham Bulldogs. In the under-12s final, the Elmbridge Eagles pulled off a 36-24 victory over a valiant Staines Titans team.

Medway Dragons Under-16s brought the Challenge Cup Finals to a close with a 52-4 victory over Barking & Dagenham Bulldogs. The Dragons' fast and furious attack coupled with their fierce defence sealed a fine win.

The London Youth and Junior League along with London Rugby League and the RFL would like to extend their thanks to all the clubs involved in the Challenge Cup journey and the positive way in which the programme has been received.
